For Brice

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Dont want to be a richer man
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Just gonna have to be a different man
Time may change me
But I cant trace time

Four Things, welcome to the blog! You're right, I'm quite familiar with the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament and other ancient Jewish/Christian texts.

Let me say that I have read Isaiah in connection to the gospel of Matthew, and any connections between the two are there because the author of the gospel made it so.

Let me also say that I grew up with the theology that you have put up on your blog. I believed it at one time and even taught it as someone who was class and student body chaplain in my Christian highschool. I have since rejected it as unbiblical and not truly representing the spirit, words and life of Jesus.

This is not the appropriate space to discuss it in detail, but I refer you to my various posts on Theology, the Church and the Bible, as well as my posts on Observant Theology.

You're welcome here and feel free to ask questions/debate/challenge me as long as you keep it civil. Also, do not try to convert anyone here. Most of the people who comment here are Christians or have rejected main stream Christianity. I'm sorry, I know this is not very welcoming :), but I will remove anything that comes across as offensive.
