Why can't I get any work done?

Or, as a sign on a very cluttered desk, in a very cluttered office of the Jewish Studies Library at OSU reads:

If a cluttered desk reflects a cluttered mind,
what does an empty desk reflect?

It reflects the ability to pick up after yourself and have deep and profound thoughts.

Don't kid yourself, bucko, you are lacking.

I agree with you on the empty desk thing Ben (sorry Jaime). When I can't see all my projects at once on my desk I have great anxiety! I'm an out of sight out of mind kind of gal so it all had to be right there, or I don't get anything done.

When I was a book buyer before I went back to school my desk was a mass of papers...everything had it's place. I went away for 2 weeks and one of the girls in the office 'cleaned my desk'...I almost had a heart attack! I was so mad!

Look at that lone Fudge Stripe Cookie. Someone eat him! He's just sitting there alone.
